Martial Arts – Koryu Uchinadi Kenpo-jutsu

Who We Are

Karate in King’s SuttonMidlands Koryukan is an official Koryu Uchinadi Kenpo-jutsu club under the direct guidance and leadership of Patrick McCarthy Hanshi, 9th Dan, a genuine pioneer in the study of Karate-jutsu. Hanshi McCarthy has revolutionised the way Karate is taught, emphasising kata application practices and two-person drills to enable real learning to happen in an enjoyable environment.

The instructors at Midlands Koryukan are fully qualified, CRB checked and experienced in martial arts, fitness and dealing with real-world conflicts. We are also accredited through the British Combat Association, which means you can rest assured that we’re a genuine, high quality martial arts club dedicated to teaching and passing on skills as they were originally intended. We do not seek to preserve the ashes of the Karate masters of old, but rather, we seek to keep their flame alive.

Come and join us on the journey to self-development and learn the way of Karate.
