Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch LogoThe King’s Sutton Neighbourhood Watch group coordinator is Adrian Barry.  (Contact details here.)

Over the years since its foundation in 1982, Neighbourhood Watch has become the largest voluntary movement in the UK. There are currently some 170,000 schemes running throughout the country, one of which is in King’s Sutton. Fortunately, our village experiences relatively low levels of crime and the local Neighbourhood Watch scheme was set up with the intention of bringing those crime levels down still further, reassuring people (particularly the elderly) and developing a closer community.

King’s Sutton’s Neighbourhood Watch group holds meetings with local crime prevention officers and organises events with specialist speakers on a regular basis. The group works closely with the local police to tackle those crimes that most affect our neighbourhood.

If you see anything suspicious or have any information, please call 101.

If you see anything suspicious or witness any anti-social behaviour in the village, your first line of action is to contact Northamptonshire Police on the 101 non-emergency calls number. (Click here for information on 101 calls.) Use 999 only for emergencies.
