Parish Council War Memorial Warden

The Warden acts on behalf of the Parish Council, which is the King’s Sutton war memorial custodian, to:

  1. Keep updated the information held at the National Inventory of War Memorials at the Imperial War Museum.
  2. Inspect the War Memorial annually and to report findings on its condition to the Parish Council in time for the Annual Parish Meeting.
  3. Notify the Parish Council of any acts of vandalism or damage which occur in the interim period.
  4. Make any suggestions to the Parish Council which it is felt will enhance appreciation of the Memorial.
