Parish Council Planning

The parish council’s Planning Committee usually meets on the first Thursday of every month at 19:00 in the Astrop Room of the Millennium Memorial Hall. The function of the committee is to review any planning applications affecting King’s Sutton, and present its views (paying due attention both to planning law and opinion within the village) to the local planning authority, South Northamptonshire Council. The committee does not have any powers to decide on planning applications. The parish council, while always being available to listen to King’s Sutton residents’ opinions for or against an application, would urge everyone concerned to make their views known directly to the Planning Department of South Northamptonshire Council at Towcester.
